Farm Bill CE Course
My team of expert colleagues in culinary medicine are developing a culinary medicine instruction guide that will be available in both electronic and print versions. This guide will equip healthcare providers to develop curriculum based on a library of recipes and associated nutrition and culinary tips that can be tailored to the needs of their patient/client populations. We are creating one version for the general adult population as well as a version specific to obesity that will be sold through the Obesity Medicine Association. This continuing education activity, The Farm Bill: A Citizen’s Guide, consists of a copy of my book and an accompanying study guide. It was released in November 2024. The course is designed to help you understand the programs funded by the farm bill, how it affects various aspects of society, and possible actions for nutrition professionals to effect positive change. It also offers 15 continuing education credits for dietetics (CDR CPEU).
